Early Life

Born in Maceió, Brazil where he spent the majority of his childhood and some of his early teens before moving to Ohio with his family, Alex has always had an interest when it comes to wrestling. The theater, the physical competition and the story telling that can happen between those ropes. In between college and other part-time jobs, Alex started getting involved in the wrestling world at the age of 16. Multiple different roles, multiple different jobs and picking up experience from all aspects of the business. But never quite making himself someone that was on screen and in the limelight. Fast forward nine years and he takes notice of another fed, one that caught his eyes like the previous ones did not...

Entering UFW

Alex took an interesting road to getting into UFW. His previous attempts at entering feds had been him applying. Him making it known that he wanted them to have him. But what if he tried a different approach? He watched the shows. He learned about the wrestlers and people around them. He put that knowledge to good use when creating his own little show, Mighty Meerkat's Monologue! A review/discussion style show that he would upload onto the forums which quickly gathered attention, putting his knowledge of the business and the psychology behind it to good use. It took a little while, but eventually he got that all important email that then led to the all important phone-call. Vincent Carpathia's associates made it known that they wanted him to be part of the federation.

He hadn't applied...they wanted him. That's exactly what he was planning. Entering negotiations with the big cat himself with that knowledge behind him resulted in a few days of interviews, contract negotiations and some arguments but in the end, he got in. The CEO might not have liked all the terms he agreed to, but he knew the benefits outweighed the negatives This kid had a mind for the business, could write up great reviews and as it later turned out, was a hell of a talker on commentary! That's where we are now! Alex as one of the voices of UFW and ever looking to expand his opportunities wherever he can.

Feud with Crovan

Alex began making waves as a commentator, eventually being assigned the lead role for most Unbroken shows. This, along with his attitude and constant jokes at the expense of Crovan, led Crovan to take to the ring and declare that Alex was now going to have to fight wrestlers of Crovan's choosing after Vincent Carpathia, who had also been the but of Alex's jokes, had discovered a wrestling contract that Alex had inadvertently signed when he signed with UFW.

With Carpathia's blessing, Crovan was given the right to book Alex against opponents of Crovan's choosing, leaving the meerkat suddenly facing a wrestling career he did not sign up for.

Vs The Soldier [Unbroken, 3rd April 2023]

Crovan first put Alex up against The Soldier. It didn't go well. Alex tried to put up a fight, but unprepared due to having just been called out, and inexperienced, he was handily trounced. After which, Crovan revealed that more was coming to ensure Alex learned his place.

Vs Depravity [Frontline, 23rd April 2023]

Naturally displeased that Alex showed fight and resilience against The Soldier, Crovan turns up the heat literally, by springing a surprise match on Alex. The demonic equine, Depravity, steps out from behind the curtain, and what followed was not a pleasant encounter at all. Despite every ounce of effort Alex put in, there was just no felling the force of nature, and soon enough the Meerkat had to be helped from the ring, to recover in hospital.

Vs Dusty Roda [Unbroken, 1st May 2023]

Crovan's wicked streak against Alex continued with him pitting the commentator-turned-wrestler against burly farm-mare, and fan favourite Dusty Roda. The equine voiced her displeasure at having to work Alex over in the ring, but she kept her honour intact as the two put on a very respectable match for the fans, with Dusty winning out, leaving more than just Alex's pride hurting.

Vs Alavesta [Unbroken, 8th May 2023]

Obviously disappointed that Alex's spirit hadn't been broken by the towering farm-horse, Crovan followed up the following week with a more vicious opponent for the Meerkat. The buccaneer of the bayou, the pirate Queen: Alavesta. Less of an honourable bout this time round as Alavesta used every trick in the book to make Alex's time n the ring as miserable as possible. Calhira's gutsy spirit wasn't enough to push through, and the wicked Pirate eventually finished him off. But, Alex wasn't broken, picking himself up off the canvas and launching into a tirade at Crovan; demanding that he stop dangling him like a fish: either put something on the line, or stop with the games. Alex's response was to superkick the veilhound right in his jaw, sending him crumpling into a heap on the canvas, much to the approval of the crowd.

Vincent Carpathia steps in [Unbroken, 15th May 2023]

Crovan steps into the ring to continue his ranting against Alex; accusing him of assault, cowardice, and demands that he should be sacked immediately from the Federation. His tirade is stopped mid-flow as Vincent Carpathia appears and silences the enraged commentator. The CEO of UFW drawing a line under proceedings, adding a bit of finality, and a massive gamble for Alex. He sets up a final bout, bringing things to a close where they began: Against The Soldier. Should Alex win, then Crovan has to pass the anchor position for Monday Night Unbroken to Alex, accepting him as a valued colleague, and promising to keep his temper under control in future. However, should Alex's history repeat, and he once again loses to The Soldier, then his contract is immediately torn in half, and Mr Calhira will find himself seeking employment elsewhere.
