 === Early Life ===
 Absolutely nothing is known about Depravity's history prior to fiery arrival at UFW.  Prior to that change, she was heralded as the Mare of Might, Purity - a heroine from [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austin,_Texas Austin, Texas] with a strong sense of justice and strength to back it up.  Her early career in UFW culminated in a title shot against then [[UFW Women's Championship|Women's Champion]] Strikira - the first of three such matches that would test the endurance and skill of both heroines.

 The tech-oriented hero give her all, dealing out punishing attacks and a show of skill that shocked the haughty nightmare, but strength and savegry took their toll, with the heroine sustaining a horrific set of injuries during the fight that left her bleeding and unable to continue due to Depravity's assaults on her back.

 Almost immediately a beam of pure light slammed down where Depravity lay - Val managing to dodge out of the ring just in time before if faded a moment later - revealing the unconscious form of Purity!  The nightmare that she had become was finally no more.

Somewhere along the way, Purity's normally calm and cheerful demeanor took a darker turn - anger and frustration creeping in, brutality rising in matches until it was evident something was wrong. At some point, even her manner of speech began to change, referring to herself as 'us' or 'we', as if she were royalty.

=== UFW Debut ===
Purity's third attempt for the Women's Championship title would be the most extreme fight the two heroes and former friends had waged yet. The UFW arena floor was littered with the fallout from their fight, the battle raging from the ring to the arena floor, and then over the barricades and onto the balcony above the ring. Neither showed a willingness to back down, Purity's anger putting anyone near the wrestlers at risk until M[[UFW Heavyweight Championship|en's Champion]] [[Agent Ray]] tried to intervene, only to be taken hostage by the furious mare as she goaded Strikira to come at her. The other heroine rushed in to rescue her fellow champion, only to be seized upon by Purity and hurled from the balcony into a crate full of [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluorescent_lamp glass light tubes], with the angry mare leaping down to secure her victory!

In full view of everyone that had watched the fight, Purity was engulfed in a tower of flame... and when it subsided, there was no trace of the white-furred unicorn. UFW's Nightmare had arrived.

=== Wrestling and UFW ===
Prideful, violent, and with none of the reservations that her former self possessed, Depravity began a rampage through the roster of UFW - defending her title against any that challenged her reign. It wasn't until she faced off against Selena, then Commissioner of [[Nocturnal]], that she lost her coveted [[UFW Women's Championship|Women's Championship]] belt. She attempted to regain it in the Women's Championship Rumble at UFW Breakout, only to be taken out of the ring in a sacrifice play by Strikira, who had recovered from her injuries and was looking to settle the score with the Nightmare.

Since then, Depravity has continued to leave a trail of violence in her wake. She leveraged fear and betrayal in a 3 vs 1 handicap against [[Valerie Kennedy|Val Kennedy]], convincing Val's teammate [[Anna Somerset]] to betray her comrades at a key moment, and taking the hyena as her protégé. When Anna began gathering Trinity medallions on a run for the [[UFW Trinity Title|Trinity Championship]] Title, Depravity aided her pursuit, then betrayed and abandoned Anna - taking the medallions for herself before taking on Razorback to secure the Trinity Championship.

Depravity specializes in brutality and ruthlessness above all, and respects only the same from her opponents - if she respects anything at all. She seems to take particular glee in choking or crushing her opponents with her massive gold-[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horseshoe shod] hooves, and is not above underhanded tactics both in and out of the ring, utilizing threats and intimidation to secure wins before she even steps into the ring, or attacking other wrestlers without provocation.

The New Year brought about a change for the former heroine - the first setback being the loss of her Trinity Championship title in a failed gambit to regain her former Women's Championship belt, resulting in long-time champion Dusty Roda losing to the crafty Nagendra. Shortly after this, intrepid explorer Elena Vincent was sent a cryptic message, instructing her to seek out some abandoned network of caves - passing several traps to happen upon an ominous temple, one that held a sarcophagus containing a strange, glowing crystalline horn and a table of unrecognizable glyphs. Sensing some importance, she took the items for further study.

And almost immediately earned Depravity's wrath: not a week had passed before Depravity was center-ring, calling out Elena to fight her! The skillful bandicoot gave it her all, but in the end the wrathful mare got the upper hand, then began to choke her opponent out as she demanded the return of their property! It was only by the intervention of the heroine Solstice that Elena was able to make good her escape.

The following weeks saw Depravity cut a swath of violence through UFW - interrupting matches in progress or viciously attacking both her opponents or even other wrestlers before or after their matches! The intensity of her actions brought together a coalition of wrestlers - Elena Vincent, Val Kennedy, Dusty Roda, and Solstice - all of whom began to plan how to end this reign of terror, and protect Elena from Depravity's clutches!

Deciphering the tablet she found, Elena was able to glean a solution - the horn she had found was a mystical artifact, tied to a demon that had possessed Purity. If they could destroy it, Purity could be freed from its influence... but only Depravity could break the cursed thing! Plans began to be hatched... and culminated in Elena challenging Depravity, who relentlessly pursued the smaller wrestler until a critical error scored Elena a surprising victory! It was short-lived, however - as Depravity assaulted her opponent immediately post match, knocking her unconscious and disappearing with the explorer in a pillar of flames!

Val Kennedy, Dusty Roda, and Solstice took the stage to call-out the demonic mare, offering a deal and a challenge - they'd return the horn to her, in exchange for Elena.. but she'd have to fight all three of them in a no-holds-barred, Last Woman Standing match, with the victor taking the spoils! Sneering, Depravity agreed to the challenge!

The match was set with a table set up ringside holding the horn, and a bound Elena seated not far off as Depravity entered the ring with her captive. The trio of opponents entered, and Solstice stepped into the ring to lead off the titanic contest.
